Scope
Create an end-to-end platform for the client to facilitate a window to the world for the not-for-profit organization. Key goals were to: clearly communicate their mission and values, establishing credibility and legitimacy, further build the community, promote future projects, enable online donations and allow listening and purchase of their albums.
Process
The process began with discovery and planning, defining the non-profit's goals, target audience, content requirements, and budget. Design phase- wire framing, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, and visual mock-ups. Following client approval, we the development phase- coding the website's front-end and back-end functionalities. Once development was complete, beta testing and quality assurance were conducted to identify and fix any bugs or usability issues. Finally, the website was launched and deployed, followed by ongoing maintenance and updates to ensure optimal UX and performance.
Solution
The platform proved a resounding success, exceeding initial goals across key metrics. Following the launch, website traffic saw 150% increase, rising from an average of 500 monthly visitors to 1250. Online donations even started to trickle in, with a 110% increase compared to the previous period. Volunteer applications also experienced a significant uptick, with 30 received in the first three months post-launch. The new website effectively broadened the organization's reach, enhanced donor engagement, and streamlined volunteer recruitment all of which directly contributed to its mission & impact.
